Oakfield – Fond du Lac County

Information for Oakfield Pet Owners

Oakfield residents must have their dog licensed each year by April 1st. This is a requirement of the State of Wisconsin to ensure pets are vaccinated for rabies. To get this license from the Oakfield Village Office, you will need to bring documentation from our Animal Wellness Center vets proving your dog has had their latest shots.

  • Spayed/Neutered Dogs: $5.00
  • Unaltered Dogs: $10.00
  • Late Fee: $5.00

The late fee applies to any application received after April 1st with two exceptions: your dog is a puppy under 5 months of age or you adopt your dog after that date. In those cases, you should get a license once the puppy has had their first vaccination or within 30 days of adoption.
